With
this said, I will not accept the changes to any historical literature
to the words it has in it. The authors of the literary works of art
used those specific words to make a point, not to hurt anyone, but to
let the future know the truth. I am sure they where trying to educate
the future generations to not repeat what was going on at that time.
What is the saddest thing in my eyes is that we have to fight for the
right to have our history be taught to our children the way it was
intended, not the way they want to rewrite it. To me it sounds like a
certain Ray Bradbury novel.

The N Word?
            In
a way yes, the authors had very good points on the N- Word. To be
honest I hate saying it that way. It is a word that People have given
power, authority, and themselves to. If we do what we are suppose to
do, which is to love one another as we love ourselves, no word would
ever have an effect on us no matter what color we are. We are the
same! I myself have loved many of many races and we all felt the
same, that no words or person with words could change the way we
loved one another. That our bonds were far stronger than any word or
a person with words could ever brake. As a mother of two little white
girls I would say that I am striving to build a better future. One in
which it won't matter what your color, race, sex, age is to any
other. It will be based on if you are a good soul, and are you
willing to add to the best future we could want for our next
generation.

What I Don't Know! but What I will Learn
    I
would have to say that I am OK, not all that good, at any of the
writing stuff and never have been. I am trying to get better but the
writing styles change, formats change, we even use computers more
now. It has been twelve years, probably more, since I was in a
reading/writing class, or have had to write any type of paper. So
here we go on the road to learn something all over again.
     I
am really good with computers and most programs they have, so getting
the formats and style changes down won’t be too hard (I hope).
With the wonderful creation of spell check my spelling has gotten
even better, but with this said, I can honestly say I am not sure
what my strengths are. I know my weaknesses, and they are many,
but they can be overcome with my determination and the knowledge
the teacher has to offer. I believe I can become an amazing writer.
